2020 COACHES CLINIC INFORMATION

The ALA is providing an opportunity to do an online Competitive Introduction
Webinar for the in class portion of the Competitive Development course on
March 28th information and instructions are below for your coaches to sign u
for this course.

Welcome to the Competitive Introduction Webinar

This clinic will run
March 28 - 10 am to 4:30  pm Competitive Introduction BOX
These clinics are interactive and responses will be required by the
attendees

        (Please note the GELC has both Box Development books and codes for
these courses and  we will make arrangements for your coaches obtain the
books prior to going on floor. We will invoice the clubs as per usual for
the courses. )

Coaches who wish to attend an online classroom session for the Coaching
Association of Canada (CAC) coaching clinics

MUST follow all steps to receive credit for attending the classroom session

1 - create a profile here to attend Community Development (if you don't
already have one) If you are attending a Competitive Introduction clinic you
will already have a profile  - https://nccp.lacrosse.ca/ 
2 - Obtain a code from your Local Governing Body/Club
3 - complete the pre-assessment for the appropriate clinic
4 - register for the appropriate clinic - these clinic have "Zoom" in the
clinic information
5 - Zoom instructions will be emailed to the eligible coach by the ALA
6 - Purchase a manual or have one supplied by your club
7 - attend a later floor session once scheduled by the ALA

Coaches who do not adhere to all steps will not receive credit for
attending.

There are a couple of Community Development courses as well  that coaches
may register into please see below  floor time will be arranged in our area
for these courses to be completed.

March 21 - 10 am to 2 pm Community Development - Vermilion
March 28 - 10 am to 4:30 pm Comp Intro- GELC
April 3 - 4 pm to 10 pm Women's Field Comp Intro
April 4 - 10 am to 4:30  pm Comp Intro - Vermilion - Grande Prairie
April 5 - 10 am to 2 pm Community Development - Grande Prairie
