U15 - U15B

Hi Everyone,  

 

My name is Brendan Zaporosky and I have taken on the position of Head Coach for this year's U15-B Leduc Crush Lacrosse Team. I'm looking forward to meeting the parents and working with the athletes.

 

I just wanted to send a quick email as it takes a good parent group to make sure that the kids have a successful season. The sooner we're able to fill a few voids on the team the easier it is to kick off the season.

 

That being said, we'll be needing a team manager. My rule is that the manager will not be a spouse or be related to any of the coaching staff.  The position is now filled - Thank you Breanna Rantucci!

 

 

 

Tournaments:

 

Registration for tournaments will be opening up early and to get in we need to be on top of it. I have looked at the list and have a few that I would like to try and enter. Not a guarantee but just a wish list that we can have a discussion on.

 

 

Fundraising / Team Sponsors:

 

To cut the cost for everyone I'm going to suggest some fundraising and if you know of anyone that's willing to sponsor, we can chat further about that.

 

Coaching:

 

I have had a few parents step up that showed interest during registration so Derek Olson and Derrel Decker will be assisting me this season.  I have also reached out to some non-parent coaches outside of the organization with heavy lacrosse backgrounds to help out.

 

I will communicate more detailed coaching expectations and philosophy once we get going but for now the 3 main focus points of our foundation will be.

 

1. Have Fun

2. Working on Skills

3. Your kids will be in great shape

 

I have been told as of last night that the organization is booking us floor time so once I know more, I can communicate that to the group. If you have any questions on equipment requirements or anything else, please feel free to reach out.
